Weight Loss Tip| If you want to lose 20, 30, 40, 50 pounds or more…
This tip goes along with the last one about savoring your food when you eat…..rather than stuffing your face and not even tasting your food which causes you to feel unsatisfied and also leads to weight gain! (I am speaking from past experience here, folks!)
When you eat, don’t wolf down your food. How many times have you grabbed a bite (or bites) on the run and gobbled it and not even really tasted it? I have more times than I want to admit.
To really lose weight and keep it off, you want to make your eating experience an actual experience – one that you take the time to enjoy.
This will give your body time to register the nourishment it is receiving. You will find that eat less and enjoy what you eat much more.
Take a little extra time to arrange your food in a beautiful way on a nice plate. Sit in a quiet place and give your food and meal time the full attention it deserves.
This tip really helped me slow down my fast pace and get pleasure from food in a healthy way. My digestion was much better too.
Instead of unconsciously devouring my food in a mindless fashion (which is so easy to do and is sometimes so ingrained in our way of eating)…I now take time to REALLY taste my food (in our busy lifestyles it can seem like a foreign idea to sit and take your time with a meal).
