When you think you are feeling hungry, drink a big glass of water and wait several minutes before eating and see the urge to munch passes.
If you still feel like eating….
Check in with yourself….
When was the last time you ate?
If it is meal time, make yourself a healthy meal and enjoy it!
Are you really hungry or just bored?
Go for a walk around the block (I do this all the time) — the fresh air and exercise will help you feel good and may help you avoid a binge on the wrong foods.
