The Right Attitude to Reach Your Weight Loss Goal

I bet many of you think that if you just found the “right” diet program you could finally lose the weight.

I used to feel that way… :)

Or maybe you think if you did just the “latest” exercise you would get that body you desire.

I thought that too…. :)

Well you are wrong if you think that the MAIN thing is finding some “right” thing.

First and foremost you have to get your head on straight to reach your goal of weight loss and getting fit.

You can try all the diets and exercises out there and NEVER EVER get results if you go into each day with the wrong mindset.

If your self esteem is in the gutter and you have a bad attitude you will talk yourself out of doing the next correct thing to reach your goals.

You see, getting successful with weight loss is all about making the next correct choice and following through with the next correct action. 

It is a moment to moment thing and you will be faced with these choices regarding your discipline every day you breathe.

With the right attitude, a winning attitude, an “I will take care of myself and do the right thing for my body” attitude each and every day you will make the progress you desire and you will get fitter and lose weight and feel better – I promise!! :)

How do I know?

Because this is what it took for me when I lost over 50 pounds. And these disciplines of my mindset and attitude are what have helped me stay healthy and slim ever since I lost the weight.

My self esteem grew every time I made a “right” choice for my health and fitness.

When I began the journey of losing over 50 pounds I was proud of myself each day that I got up, ate right, and exercised.

The more I did the right behaviors the better I felt about myself and then the more I did the right behaviors…..and on and on…..it is a positive cycle and no longer a vicious one when it comes to my healthy lifestyle.

Yes, exercise and a healthy diet are essential to your fitness and weight loss program, but if you want to reach your long term goals, you must improve your attitude as well.

No matter how much outside support you have (or don't have), if you don’t support your mindset on the inside you will never get the success you long for.

Negative thinking can make you lose confidence, depress you and cause you to lose hope. And if you tell yourself that you may as well give up because you will always be overweight and miserable – then you will create a future as depressing as what you think. 

What you think about you bring about….

So let’s change that….start today by telling yourself that you CAN get in shape and that you are happy to be alive and grateful for everything you have right now. Be proud of yourself everytime you make a good decision and follow through with improving your health and fitness.

You can do it! I am here to cheer you on. I have done it and you can too. Never ever give up!!!
